Installation

If you are using LibDragon, then you don’t need to install VADPCM tools separately. LibDragon’s tools will handle it for you.

Otherwise, you can build VADPCM yourself from source code. You can get the source code from the official VADPCM repository, depp/vadpcm. There is also a GitHub mirror.

Prerequisites

You need a C toolchain and either Bazel or CMake.

Building with CMake

cmake -B build .
cmake --build build

This will create a build folder with a program named vadpcm inside.

Building with Bazel

bazel build -c opt //vadpcm

This will create bazel-bin/vadpcm/vadpcm.
